The PMC-5565PIORC Reflective Memory Node Card provides a high-speed, low latency, and deterministic interface, allowing data to be shared between up to 256 independent system nodes at a rate of up to 170 MB/s. Each reflective memory board can be configured with 128 MB or 256 MB onboard SDRAM. Local SDRAM provides fast read access time to stored data. Writes are stored in local SDRAM and broadcasted to other reflective storage nodes through high-speed fiber optic data paths. The data transmission between nodes is software transparent, so there is no need for I/O overhead. Send and receive FIFO buffered data during peak data rates to optimize host and bus performance to maintain high data throughput.

PCIE-5565-PIORC is an optically isolated data relay communication product that can extend the communication distance of RS-485/422 bus networks and enhance the number of RS-485/422 bus network devices. The built-in photoelectric isolator and DC/DC converter of the C2000 S109 can provide an isolation voltage of 1500V. The fast transient voltage suppressor (TVS) can effectively suppress lightning and ESD, and provide 600W of lightning surge protection power per line, effectively preventing lightning strikes and common ground interference.
